This is one powerful, massive Duroc boar!! What a powerful pedigree and
a strong litter. The mother of Big Red is one of Olsen's best Duroc
sows. Big Red's littermate was the $24,000 class winning boar at the
'07 Summer Type Conference. In our opinion, Rig Red excels his
littermate in his width of base, rib shape and he sets his feet down
wider and squarer from behind.
Study the pictures!! Big Red comes at you with an enormous chest floor
and has a massive forearm and foot size. His depth of body and rub
shape are outstanding and he is really square hipped. Big Red has a
huge, massive, thick top and carries that thickness down thru his ham
and stifle. He is level in his hip and is very sound and flexible.

Procedure for Private
Treaty/Telephone Auction Internet Sale

All interested
potential buyers must register to bid by providing us with their Name, Address
and Telephone Numbers. This information can be provided to us by either calling
or emailing us.
-
Bids may be placed at any time from
now up until 7:00 P.M. CST on Tuesday, March 25. Bids may be
placed by contacting us by phone or email.
-
At 7:00 P.M. CST on Tuesday, March 25,
2008
bids will close. At this time, we will begin calling people who
have bid on gilts. If you have bid on a gilt, but someone else
has made a higher bid on that same gilt since the time you
placed your bid, you will receive a call from us asking if you
would like to raise your bid. If you choose not to raise your
bid on that particular gilt you will then have the opportunity
to place a bid on another gilt that may be within your budget.
This will continue until all the gilts are sold. Bids will
increase in $50 increments up to $1000, after that bidding
increments will be $100.

Please make sure you provide us
with phone numbers where we may reach you during the afternoon
and evening of March 25, 2008. Please be patient
during this process as it will take some time to contact all
bidders. We will do it as timely as possible.

Cooperative delivery will be
available. Delivery can be made to the NSR
Extravaganza on April 30, 2008 in Richmond, Indiana.

Payment is due on all animals at the completion of the sale.

person at the farm.
