Progress Through Testing

Stewart's Duroc Farm is a worldwide supplier of Duroc, Hampshire and white line genetics. For three generations and over 50 years Stewarts have believed in the tradition of breeding pedigreed pigs. We combine this known parentage swine breeding system with modern selection, performance and breeding techniques coupled with high health and large volume to produce genetics in demand world wide.

Stewart's Duroc Farm consists of three nucleus operations, two in Waverly, Iowa, and one SPF herd - Stein and Stewart Genetics - in Odessa, Missouri. Two gilt multiplier operations located in Iowa and Missouri work with us in the production of white gilts.

Since our origin we have been believers in using the most up-to-date way of measuring performance in our genetics. The performance superiority of our hogs has been documented in numerous head to head performance tests as well as the STAGES performance program. We are very proud  of the fact that our genetics have been used to improve the performance of swine throughout America and the world.
